This species is known only from the type locality, Mwana, at 1,650 m asl, near Mwenga, in southern Kivu (Sud-Kivu Province), eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.

Arthroleptis vercammeni:
The Mwana screeching frog (Arthroleptis vercammeni) is a species of frog in the Arthroleptidae family. It is endemic to Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is only known from its type locality at Mwana in Mwenga Territory, at an elevation of 1,650 m.
