Amphibians
Nectophryne batesii Boulenger, 1913
EOL Text
This species occurs from southern Cameroon to southwestern Gabon, through southwestern Central African Republic to northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo. There are very few records through most of its presumed range, probably because of limited sampling. The distribution map assumes its occurrence in the large area between southwestern Central African Republic and northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, for which there do not appear to be any records. There do not appear to be any records from Equatorial Guinea and Congo but it presumably occurs in these countries, and they are included on the species' distribution plotted on the map, and is likely also to be present in southeastern Nigeria.
