There is no information on the habitat and ecological requirements of this species, although assuming that it breeds in a similar manner to other Leptopelis species, it lays its eggs in a nest buried in mud near water, into which the larvae emerge and develop.

The Congulu forest tree frog, Leptopelis jordani, is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family endemic to Angola. Its natural habitats are rivers, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
